Allowing swimmers to work from home
At the beginning of March, when the Coronavirus was just starting to have an effect on our everyday lives. We realised that with pools and leisure centres being closed, that none of the GB swimming squad have pools at home, unlike the other top swimming countries, and would be at a disadvantage, like a footballer training without a ball.
So, partnering with Jacuzzi®, they wonderfully agreed to divert all the free stock they had at the time to help out our swimmers. A couple of days of planning (and many favours) we managed to put in electrics, build bases and crane in 8 pools into their back gardens between Plymouth and Crewe, in 5 days!

Fantastic Team
The only reason this was at all possible was thanks to the fantastic Bedfordshire Hot Tubs team and helpful contractors who went above and beyond to help us.
It was all worth it to see the swimmers and their families who were kind enough to let us take over their gardens for the day, and see them getting back into the water.
With the current climate, it's incredibly hard and scary for all, so it's important for us all to say safe and well by staying home, and we were able to allow 8 swimmers to do this, and still work & train from home.
